Commenting On A Planning Application
Everyone, including the applicant and third party, can inspect a planning file and can make a comment on same, either supporting or objecting to the application. An objection or observation on a particular application can be made at any time before the planning authority makes a decision on the application but it is in your own interests to submit your comments as soon as possible after the application has been lodged as the planning authority will take these into account when making its decision. All planning applications can be inspected in the relevant Planning Office.
